In a setting designed for fantasy and secrecy, the Pygmalion myth is reimagined through synthetic intimacy and fractured self-reflection.
Doll-like muses come alive. The elegance and beauty of a bygone era linger — reshaped within a hyper-constructed realm. Mirrors fracture and multiply these shifting identities, dissolving the boundaries between self and other, desire and disguise.
The gaze is voyeuristic: intrusive yet tender, holding a quiet yearning, lingering on the delicate tension between creation and decay.
Drawing from the transgressive spirit of Funeral Parade of Roses, this narrative emphasised on the ambiguous construct of gender, inviting us into a delicate dance of beauty and decay, illusion and truth.
